New Motorola V176 Provides Rich Communication for the Every Day

With the launch of the new Motorola V176 mobile phone, Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT), a global leader in wireless communications, continues its commitment to delivering affordable, feature-rich handsets to consumers.

Merging the latest communication tools with a simplified user experience, the Motorola V176 is the latest addition to the company's growing mass market portfolio, which includes the recently announced models V186, V360 and V235. All four of these sleek clamshell handsets showcase large, color displays, advanced messaging and musical ringtones – bringing in-demand, affordable functionality to market.

About the Products

Offering a suite of must-have communication tools, the signature clamshell Motorola V176 features an impressively large color display, measuring 1.8 inches diagonally, as well as an office-quality speakerphone for multi-tasking on-the-run, Instant Messaging (IM)* for sending quick text messages in real-time and Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS)* for sharing visuals. Stylish and chic, the black, soft-touch housing and superior battery power complete this affordable mobile phone package.

Depending on market capability, the Motorola V176 will also offer Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PoC)** functionality for convenient, one-touch connections.
