SanDisk Sansa e100 Flash Memory MP3 Player with SD Card Expansion

SanDisk has introduced a brand new MP3 player that is flash memory based dubbed the Sansa e100. The player comes in two standard sizes of 512MB and 1GB, but provides room for extra storage by means of an SD card slot on the side.

The player supports both MP3 and WMA formats for playing music, but can also play digital FM radio. It sports a multi-line backlit LCD display. SanDisk reports that you should be able to listen to 17 hours of music before replacing or recharging the one AAA battery that the player takes.

The SanDisk Sansa e100 is available now at $139 and $189 for the 512MB and 1GB versions respectively.
