Subject: credit collection

I have been divorced for about 1o years. I did have some joint account with my ex. He did not complete paying all of his debt given to him during the divorce. Now, I am been threaten by a collection company concerning this bill. I know that when we were married that we did have this card. However because he did not pay the collection company wants me to pay. This is not from the credit card company. What are my rights in this matter?

Tell the collection agency that the matter is in dispute. Usually this will make them stop bugging you, because if the money in question is still in dispute then they have no right to harass you for the money..
